Phuket was adventurous. The first day started without Adiel. He decided to go on a ” man riding the motorcycles like crazy while trying to stay alive as they have women waiting for them at home” kind of trip. On the other end, me and Flaviu wanted to sit on the beach, read a book, rent a scooter, visit the surroundings and breath in the air of this complex yet beautifully made city.
Four days went by really fast. There was the heat. And the flat tire on a crazy road 5 km away from the city. And pushing the scooter up and down the hill. And having sunburns from doing that. And the boys accident – not bad but enough to wake me up with a trembling heart at 3 o’clock in the night . And the wounds. And the next Halloween costume for the boys – their shirts shattered and covered in blood. And the pain. And the humidity. And then the heat again. And getting mad at God for allowing such things to happen only to worship Him afterwards for His kindness.
I loved the sunset. Thailand is more beautiful in her sunset gown than any other country I’ve seen. We had good talks and friendship, laughs and rides and rainbows. And Larry Crown and late dinners while watching the waves kiss the rocks. Awww and I got to see two weddings at the beach, what would’ve been the chances? 😀
