” Love starts with a fluttering of thoughts and attraction, we think “Oh, I could see myself with this person.” and then the fluttering stops and it begins to expand, like your chest is going to burst with all the feelings you hold, yet, it’s simply just that, a feeling.
It’s when you continue to choose daily, saying ” I am with this person, and I love them.” So now you go out of your way to show then that they matter, you go beyond what expanding and fluttering can go, and you go to the deepest part os the sea, and you drop your anchor; this is when you have made your choice. There is no going back now, you have bound yourself to the sea, and she is worth being lost in, because you realise that you always had the love of her in your blood. ”

During my seven years of work I’ve seen many love stories and I’ve attended many celebrations: small or big, fairytale or corky, with laughter or tears or sometimes both. This wedding however, this wedding won my heart. I’m not sure if it was the fact that they’ve been my friends for more than four years now, or the fact that I helped Thed with his proposal and it happen at my mountain cabin. Maybe it was the fact that during the event they treated me like a person and not just a service or maybe it was the familiar feeling I got while photographing, I’m not sure, but all in one, I’m grateful it was me capturing those special moments for them and grateful that they trusted me completely with it.
Thed & Luiza, thank you for being the amazing friends that you are, for showing so much grace throughout your event and for making it so real and beautiful! Enjoy!
